Building and Sustaining Critical Marine Infrastructure
We focus on long-term partnerships with clients who depend on our unique skills in marine construction and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their assets.
Operating in highly corrosive and demanding marine environments, our work is by nature recurring. We draw on specialist personnel, custom equipment, and proven methodologies to deliver effective solutions across the full asset lifecycle. From new wharf and jetty construction to the ongoing inspection, strengthening, and rehabilitation of existing structures, we provide the certainty required to keep continuous export and trade operations running.
Our approach combines innovation, specialist technical expertise, integrated self-perform capabilities and a strong understanding of the marine environment. This ensures that every project not only meets immediate operational needs but also enhances the long-term resilience and performance of the infrastructure.

Our Shore Bases
TAMS’ strategically located shore bases form the vital link between land and sea, ensuring projects are delivered with efficiency, certainty, and strong local benefit. With facilities in Fremantle, Port Hedland, Onslow, Gladstone, Broome, and Cape Preston these hubs provide immediate water access and underpin regional capability for complex marine and port works.
Each base is more than a logistical depot – it supports workforce deployment, vessel servicing, pre-construction staging, and equipment mobilisation. Dedicated laydown and modularisation zones enable prefabrication in controlled conditions, reducing risks, minimising disruption, and improving efficiency.
Embedded in local communities, TAMS’ shore bases strengthen regional supply chains, create jobs, and support Indigenous engagement. Our national spread provides resilience and flexibility, ensuring continuity of service while retaining the strength of local delivery.
Our culture
TAMS’ capability is defined as much by its culture as by its specialist fleet and technical expertise. Over 25 years, we have built a team of pragmatic, long-standing professionals with extensive knowledge of marine construction and maintenance.
